From Mark Nagasawa, Flora Farago, and Lacey Peters, the special issue co-editor:  "This issue of the International Critical Childhood Policy Studies journal is dedicated to the scholarship of generosity, a sorely needed praxis for a "post"-COVID world.  It takes its inspiration from Professor Beth Blue Swadener's lifetime of work but is about more than one scholar's formidable contributions.  It illustrates some of the living possibilities found in generous scholarship and calls critical childhood scholars to actions against the strictures of the neoliberal academy."
